October: National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

It’s October and I think it’s important to use fashion as a reminder of the importance of this month to every woman out there, because October, as many people will know, is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It doesn’t matter that you live in the U.S. or in Italy or somewhere else; it’s good to know there are National associations who work very hard to let us know what is breast cancer.

National Breast Cancer Fundation has a wonderful site where they explain very very well how to detect the symptoms and signs – I suggest to take a look and if possible help them in the way you can! More over, on beyondtheshock.com you can see videos where they explain what is the breast cancer, because we have to admit, most of us know about this but not about “the types and stages, diagnosis, and treatment of breast cancer”. Please just go on their site and take look!!

Since I work in fashion I thought I can use what I’m good at to spread the word about this important month.
